Josephine Watts. I joined the Lenart community in Fall of 2019 when my daughter, Maya, entered kindergarten. I served 2 years on Lenart’s Local School Council, as Vice Chair, which was an excellent introduction and a great way to get involved. My background is in Corporate Human Resources which allows me to work with diverse people in all phases of their career. I enjoy planning, organizing, and bringing folks together, working towards one goal. I look forward to serving as President of the LLP, working collectively with the Local School Council, Lenart Staff and Students in hopes of successful events this school year. Thank you, and please call me Joi.

Jenna Carlson: I joined the Lenart family in 2022, when my son, Finn started Kindergarten here. I have nearly 20 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher, college counselor, and non-profit leader. I am currently the Director of Technical Project Management at a national non-profit dedicated to supporting career access for first generation, low income and minority college students. My past and current experiences have allowed me to grow into a detail-oriented project manager as well as a joyful and skilled facilitator and coach. I have a strong network in the world of education and non-profit here in Chicago and hope to be able to leverage that in whatever way I can to support our school community. In my free time, I can be found hanging with my husband, Chris, as well as Finn and his little brother Archer. I also love baking and decorating cakes, riding the Peloton and consuming the occasional terrible reality television show.
Samantha Gray: I am the parent of a third grader and seventh grader. I have been a Lenart Lions Pride member since 2017 and the treasurer since 2019. In my role, I have been judicious with the LLP finances. I have also been involved with planning both in person and virtual programs. I am excited to serve another year as we welcome new and innovative leaders.
China Dostal: I am the parent of a third grader. I built this Lenart Lions Pride website in 2020 in the hopes that it could be used as a tool for all families to have better communications. I am excited to serve now formally as the Communications Officer. Lenart school is a very special place and we are so proud to be a part of this wonderful school.
